Social Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Requests Training from PR Exec on Communication

PHNOM PENH: Secretary of State and Chairman of the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, Em Chan Makara, requested the Director of PR and Information Management Consultant of PNN TV, Glen Felgate, to consult on and organize a short training course for senior officials on how to write news.

In a meeting with Mr. Felgate on October 4, the secretary of state requested a short training on how to write information for senior officials at the ministry so that they can quickly and easily write in a specialized way and understand how to respond to journalists and citizens.

Glen Felgate has been a professional journalist for many years with major media outlets around the world and in the Kingdom of Cambodia. According to his LinkedIn page, he is the founder of Cambodia's first 'dedicated' PR agency, Creator and General Manager of 3 Cambodian TV channels and a Reuters TV journalist with experience working at the highest level on some of the world's top stories during the 90s.

Subsequently, a free training course is scheduled for October 27 for all levels of officials at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation.
